Special Catholic Schools Week Edition

01-30-2026Notes from the PrincipalMrs. Jamie Bescak

Dear St. John Bosco Community,

As Catholic Schools Week comes to a close, my heart is filled with gratitude for what was truly a joyful, faith-filled, and memorable week. Catholic Schools Week beautifully showcased the very best of St. John Bosco Catholic School—our faith, our students, our educators, and our incredible community.

This week also reminded us why St. John Bosco is proud to be recognized as a National and Arizona Blue Ribbon School. While this honor celebrates excellence in education, Catholic Schools Week highlighted something even deeper—that our commitment to academic excellence is matched by an equally strong commitment to faith, leadership, and service. At Bosco, excellence is measured not only by achievement, but by how we live the Gospel and serve others each day.

Dear Parents,

This Sunday marks the final opportunity to secure your child's spot for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. As we gear up for Catholic Schools Week, we begin the review and acceptance of new students. Several classes are already full, with waiting lists in place. To ensure your child's enrollment, please complete the re-enrollment process by this Sunday. All current families have received re-enrollment emails multiple times this past month and received another reminder this week.

Dear Parents,

Catholic Schools Week is just two weeks away—one of the most exciting and meaningful times of the year for our students and school community! To kick off the celebration, we invite all students to wear their St. John Bosco school uniform to Mass at their home parish the weekend of Jan 24–25 as a visible sign of pride and school spirit. As a special incentive, any student who wears their uniform to Mass that weekend will earn a Free Dress Day on Thu, Feb 5. Click HERE to view the Catholic Schools Week schedule of events.
