Running with Rosco
What is Running with Rosco?
Running with Rosco is one of SJB’s three annual fundraisers, but it’s also one of our most beloved community-building traditions.
The community building happens on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving when students, staff and families are invited to run, jog, skip or walk around our athletic fields with Rosco the Bulldog and other mascots from around town. See below for event details.
Running with Rosco functions as a fundraiser in two main ways:
- Student fundraising pages
- T-Shirt sponsorships
This year we are raising money for updates to the school bathrooms and painting the campus security fencing. See below to learn how you can help!
Create a Fundraising Page for your Student(s)
We use a platform called Booster to make fundraising easy and convenient. The first step is to create a fundraising page for your student(s). If you have multiple students, their pages can be combined in a family page. Be sure to upload a picture to personalize the page.
Next, it’s time to solicit donations! The great thing about this fundraiser is that out-of-town friends and family can easily participate. You’ll have a customized link you can send via email, text or social media. Students will earn prizes as they rack up donations, and the class with the most donations will win a special prize!
