Dear Parents,
Can you believe we’re already in the third week of Advent? Before you head into Christmas break, however, be sure to join us for two of our favorite events at St. John Bosco Catholic School!
Wednesday, December 15 at 6:00pm is our 20th Annual Christmas Program. Music Director Dr. Luis Rodriguez has created a very special program that will take place outside in our festive courtyard and showcase our kindergarten through 6th-grade students singing and playing instruments. Our 7th and 8th graders will be reciting scriptures and assisting Dr. Rodriguez behind the scenes. Since we will be outside, we recommend you dress accordingly.
To keep you cozy, the Buzzed Goat Coffee Co. will be on site serving delicious warm beverages. I also want to assure you that there will not be a bad seat in the house! Mr. Macdonald will record the Christmas Program and email it to all parents by Thursday afternoon. We kindly ask that everyone keep their cameras and phones in their lap so everyone can enjoy the experience of watching the students perform.
All families are invited to join us Thursday, December 16 at 7:00am in the MPR and courtyard to begin the day with Pancakes with Santa, presented by our very own Dads' Club and PTO, and get a photo with Santa. As a reminder, Thursday December 17 is early dismissal (12:30pm) and ESP will not be provided.
Please know that this will be the last Bulldog Bite until we return to school. There are many events in January so please scan this newsletter and check the website so you’re not caught off guard when school resumes on January 3.
I wish our entire SJB community comfort and joy this holiday season, and may we all feel the Peace of Christ this Christmas and throughout the New Year!
Joyful blessings,
Jamie Bescak, Principal
