Dear Parents,

I hope you are enjoying the summer with your loved ones.

I am writing to share important news regarding our parish priests. Bishop Dolan has announced new assignments that will take effect on September 1, 2025.

Fr. James, who has been such a deeply loved and supportive presence in our school and parish community, has been assigned as Pastor of Corpus Christi Parish. Fr. Augustine will become Parochial Vicar at St. Steven’s Parish in Sun Lakes. We will also be welcoming Fr. Manasseh Iorchir, VC, as the new Pastor of St. Benedict Parish, and Fr. Emmanuel Peregrine Ogla, VC, as Parochial Vicar at St. Benedict. All of these priests are members of the Via Christi Society, which will now be caring for the pastoral needs of St. Steven, St. Benedict, and Corpus Christi parishes.

While this news is bittersweet, as we will miss Fr. James’ classroom visits, smiles, and unwavering support, we trust that God is guiding each of them to where they are most needed. Please keep Fr. James, Fr. Augustine, Fr. Manasseh, and Fr. Emmanuel in your prayers during this time of transition.
