April 17

04-17-2025Notes from the PrincipalMrs. Jamie Bescak

Dear Parents,

This week we observed Holy Week through several meaningful Lenten activities including class- and teacher-led Stations of the Cross held throughout campus. This morning, our 6th-grade students presented a special performance of The Passion of Christ. Following the presentation, all homeroom classes participated in Lenten Retreats. Easter Break began today at 12:30pm, and school will resume on Tuesday, April 22.

As we prepare for the joy of Easter, I pray your family experiences a beautiful celebration filled with love, peace, and renewed faith. May this sacred season bring abundant blessings to you and your loved ones.

Looking ahead, we are beginning preparations for the 2025–26 school year. Please join me in welcoming the following new team members:

  • Mrs. Abigail Corwin, our new Pre-Kindergarten teacher
  • Mrs. Amy Day, who will serve as our part-time Development Director while continuing her role as our on-site substitute teacher
  • Mrs. Diane Mullally, our new part-time Librarian while continuing her role as our Office Assistant
  • Ms. Karen Rizzo, will serve in her new role as Resource Instructional Assistant

We are also excited to share a new and convenient way to purchase school supplies for next year! St. John Bosco Catholic School is partnering with 1st Day School Supplies to make back-to-school shopping easier than ever. Supplies—carefully selected by your child’s teacher—will be top-quality, name-brand items delivered in individual boxes for each student. Simply order and pay online. Instructions and a link to order will be sent home after Easter.

Wishing you a blessed Easter and a joyful, restful break!
