Dear Parents,
You have 3 days left to secure your child’s spot for the 2022-23 school year. Open Enrollment for incoming students begins Monday at 9:00am. Several of our classes are full and have waiting lists. Please make sure to re-enroll your children by Monday morning at 9:00am. All current families received a re-enrollment email last week and will receive another reminder this Sunday.
This weekend kicks off the most exciting week for our students and community — Catholic Schools Week! Make sure your children wear their SJB school uniform to Mass this weekend and show their school spirit. Every student who wears their school uniform to Mass this weekend will receive a Free Dress Day on Thursday, February 9.
Mr. Caradonna has planned another fabulous Field Day but he needs your help to pull it off. Please sign up here to assist with the fun and games. Remember, every family is required to volunteer at least 25 hours a year and this is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your volunteer obligation and enjoy the great outdoors with your kids!
I am also happy to announce that two of our very talented teachers have been awarded the honor of being National Board Certified Teachers. Congratulations to Mrs. Melanie Del Grosso and Mrs. Anne Iniguez. National Board Certification is a voluntary advanced teaching credential that goes beyond state licensure. Teachers who achieve National Board Certification have met lofty standards through rigorous study, expert evaluation, self-assessment, and peer review. Members of the Arizona K12 Center made a surprise visit Thursday to present National Board Certified Certificates to Mrs. Iniguez and Mrs. Del Grosso in front of the entire school community. We are ALL so very proud of them!
