Dear Parents,
We had a fabulous first week of school! Thanks to our awesome PTO, our students entered campus with balloons, school mascot Rosco, and a beautiful backdrop for picture-taking! Fr. James and I were delighted to greet each student and their parents as they entered our grand SJB gates.
We hope you will all join us tomorrow (Saturday) at 6:30pm for our Back to School BBQ hosted by our PTO, Dads’ Club, St. Benedict Parish, and the Fr. Bob Binta Knights of Columbus. Food, music, games, and a dunk tank will be provided for all to enjoy. This event will be held outside in the courtyard and in the MPR.
Our annual Curriculum Night is this Wednesday, August 17 from 5:30–7:30pm. starting in the Multi-purpose Room (MPR) with prayer, important school updates, and information. You will then proceed to your child’s classroom to hear a brief teacher presentation regarding the curriculum, daily routine, and expectations.
For parents of preschool through sixth graders, there will be two 25-minute sessions: the first session is 6:30–6:55pm; the second session is 7:00–7:25pm. The Junior High (seventh and eighth grades) session will be held in the MPR from 7:00–7:25pm. Please remember that this is a parents-only evening.
Teachers of enrichment programs (STEM, Music, Library, Spanish, Art Masterpiece, P.E., Resource) will be available in the library from 6:30–7:30 PM to answer questions and provide information about their impressive curriculums.
Joyful Blessings,
Jamie Bescak, M.Ed., Principal
