Conserve and Preserve (CAP Club)
Motto:
We care about animals and the enviornment.
Mission Statement:
To educate others about the natural world and to practice conservation and preservation. We are responsible for the recycling at school.
We often have guest speakers that deal with animals and the enviroment. We learn about the environment working in the school garden.
Projects Include:
- Serving cider at the Christmas Program
- Serving hot chocolate and cider at the Mom's breakfast "Winter Wonderland"
- Recycling
- Raising funds for Animal Charities through the Nation
- Collecting clothing and food for various no kill shelters in the valley including Sherriff Arpaio's Mash Unit.
- Sponsoring Earth Fest and various schoolwide speakers
- Adopting an acre of African Rainforest
- Adopting an Orca whale named Wavewalker
- Nature Conservancy Projects
