Types of Volunteer Opportunities

Adoration is held the first Wednesday of every month.  Parents are welcome to attend anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and there are a few times each month that need coverage because of the student schedules.
Assist with the unloading of students arriving through the carpool lane in the morning ensuring the safety of the students and the smooth flow of traffic. Time commitment is from 7:15am to 8:00am.
Every teacher has different needs for working directly with students. The teachers will circulate information through their weekly newsletters to recruit parents for guest speakers, special events, field trips, center leaders, table washers, lunch monitors, book orders, and bulletin boards (just to name a few).

Monitoring the arrival/departure of students and parents through the various entries into the school ensuring the safety of all. Morning and afternoon shifts are available.
The Hospitality committee is a great easy way to earn hours behind the scenes. Each member receives a Sign Up Genius via email as to needed food items and implements that can easily be purchased at any grocery store for school events (such as staff lunches, information nights, etc.) As a committee member, you can sign up for items as often or as little as you would like. It allows for the most flexibility and is a very easy way to fulfill service hours.
The nurses’ and PE office use ice packs that can be assembled for service hours.

Training provided, rotating schedule
Each year the science teachers can use help with organizing projects, guest speakers, mentors for Science Fair, Science Fair judges, caring for animals, and care for the curriculum garden.
