CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR AND EXPECTATIONS

Each child shall be responsible for appropriate classroom behavior.  Showing respect to their teacher and each other will provide a productive classroom environment.  To instill this behavior I will implement the following:

 CLASSROOM RULES

1)               Follow directions.

2)               Be a good listener.

3)               Raise your hand before speaking.

4)               Stay in your seat.

5)               Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself.

6)              Be kind and to others.

CARD SYSTEM

GREEN – Excellent!

YELLOW – 5 minutes teacher directed recess

ORANGE – 10 minutes teacher directed recess

RED – 15 minutes teacher directed recess and a behavioral notice recorded on Renweb, emailed to parents and administration

Each child will start the day with a green card.  If a child receives all green cards in one week, he/she will get a sticker or stamp on Friday.  Cards will be recorded daily on the behavior chart inside the homework folder.  Please initial the behavior chart daily.  This will enable us to work together to ensure that your child does his/her best to receive a green card every day!
