Catholic Tuition Organization, Diocese of Phoenix

Mission Statement

The Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix provides opportunities for students, K-12, to obtain a Catholic education by securing and providing financial assistance for the greater glory of God.

About the Organization

The Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix (CTODP) was established in 1998, thanks to the Arizona Tuition Tax Credit.  The Catholic Tuition Organization is a non-profit organization under the 501(c)(3) IRS tax code.

They are committed to allocating at least 93% of its annual revenues for scholarships and grants to children attending the schools owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, even though the law only requires 90% be allocated.

Since the first year of operations in 1998, the generosity of local contributors have allowed for a continuous funding to local Catholic schools, awarding scholarships to students with the greatest need, who wish to choose Catholic education.
