Scrip

Scrip is the purchase of discounted merchant certificates. Both SJB and you will profit from the purchase and use of these certificates. You purchase the certificates at face value from the school for use at participating merchants.

What are the program guidelines?

The Scrip program is expected of every family at St. John Bosco School.  Each  family meets a minimum initial profit to the school of $150. After this profit has been met, the subsequent profits will be split 50/50 between the school and the family to be used for student tuition credit.

Opportunities

Multiple opportunities to create Scrip exist:

In addition to the purchase of merchant vouchers, St. John Bosco Scrip also offers:

  • Fry’s rechargeable cards (purchased once for $5 and loaded at the store; Fry’s will track and report to SJB twice per year).
  • Bashas' rechargeable cards (purchased once for $10 and loaded at the store; Bashas' will track and report to SJB once a month)
