Thank you for applying to St. John Bosco Interparish School. Please take a moment to read through this information sheet. It is important that you follow the process of completing forms as indicated. Forms need to remain with this folder throughout the application process.
Families who meet the following requirements will have first consideration for enrollment. However, all families are encouraged to apply.
- Transferring in from another Catholic School
- Sibling of a current SJB student
- Registered in a Catholic parish
- Active participant in parish ministries
- Registered, enrolled and attending Religious Education
All Application packets must include:
- Student /Family Application Form: One form is required for each student applying to the school. Please note: State law and Diocesan policy requires that any child entering kindergarten be five years of age before September 1. Pre-k students will need to be four years of age before September 1. In addition to the student/family application, all kindergarten and first grade applicants are required to take the Gesell assessment. This assessment is administered at SJB by a trained evaluator for a fee ($35 kindergarten, $50 first grade).
- Birth Certificate: ORIGINAL document required for each applicant (will be returned)
- Social Security Card: Original document optional for each applicant (will be returned)
- Report Card/Test Scores: Copy of most recent report card for incoming 1st-8th grade AND copy of most recent test scores for incoming 3rd – 8th.
- Sacrament Certificates: Copy of Baptismal, Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, as applicable for each applicant.
- Parish Verification Letter from your home parish (if outside of Corpus Christi, St. Benedict, St. Andrew or Holy Spirit) verifying requirements listed above for enrollment.
- Application Fee: The application fee is $50 (non-refundable nor applicable towards tuition) per applicant. Please make your check payable to St. John Bosco Interparish School
Additional admission requirements for incoming 4th thru 8th students
Application to St. John Bosco Interparish School does not guarantee acceptance. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted. No exceptions!
