Oraciones (Prayers)

There will be several prayers throughout the year that we will memorize and then take an as oral test. Students practice and memorize the test and then come to my desk on the test date to recite the prayer. The grade is given based on the number of words in the prayers. All tests are 100 possible points.

 1) read it to yourself

2) say it aloud

3) Write each work on a note card and put the prayer together. You can start with one sentence at first and then progressively make it harder until the entire prayer is memorized.

4) record it and play it back trying to recite it by memory with the recorded version

5) Come up with your own original idea! Don't procrastinate. Get started right now.

The first prayer this year will be Ven Espiritu Santo. You will receive a prayer sheet in class at the beginning of the year. It's important to keep it in a safe protected place so you will have it to refer to all year long.
