Reading Contest Rules

1. Students are given monthly calendars to record reading sessions.
2. Students must read at home for at least 20 days per calendar month. Reading sessions should be, at the minimum, 15-20 minutes in length.
3. Reading sessions must be recorded in the appropriate boxes. Please include the title of the book you read and the number of pages you read during that session. If you read the book in its entirety, just record the title of the book.

4. Students must have a parent sign the calendar to confirm recorded reading sessions.
5. The contest will extend from September through April. The calendar is due at the end of every month with a five-day grace period.
