March Literature Project:
For their March literature project, the class will read a biography and then write a letter to that person. It doesn’t matter if the person is deceased – they can still write and tell the person why they chose him or her, write some things they might admire about that person, and ask a few questions. It can be about any person from any time from any walk of life. These are due the last week in March. Here are some links to friendly letter formats and templates:

In a short report, answer these questions:

- If you read a picture book, who illustrated it?
- What country is your story from? (Answer only if this is known – you don’t have to research it.)
- Is your story a folk tale (a story, usually of anonymous authorship and legendary or mythical elements, made and handed down orally among the common people), a fairy tale (a story about fairies, giants, magic deeds, etc.; an unbelievable or untrue story), or a fable (a fictitious story meant to teach a moral lesson: the characters are usually talking animals)? (Thank you, Mr. Webster!)
Paragraph Two:
